This was our excursion to Deadwood, SD. No trail riding just some relaxing times and great food! This was on our way back from Wyoming, We stopped for a few nights to break up the trip. Turned out better than expected, Deadwood is a really neat area that I want to go back to!
Downtown Deadwood, Too Many people for my liking, but still fun to go through all the shops!
I have to recommend right off the bat a place to eat, the Silverado Casino has an excellent Buffett! I was hungry, after “roughing it” in Wyoming, LOL. Not really, we ate good there also. Also have to recommend the Deadwood Grille, Had a baked fish there, was fantastic!
Ok, Deadwood, Lots going on, fun stuff to do for everyone in your group! This area is friendly to atvs, hundreds of miles of trials in the region. We will be going back in 2022 to do a review.
Walking The White River Trail…
We spent an afternoon walking around the outskirts of town and on the White River Trail that is away from the touristy area, was very nice!
As stated, this was a break from our “Camping trip”, we ended up staying at a cabin at the KOA in Deadwood, which also was great.
