This stay was at the New Frontier Campground & RV Park, Located In Presho, SD. We stayed here one night as we were passing through, on our way to the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming.
This Campground has it all, very spacious & leveled sites. Great, clean, well maintained restrooms and shower facilities. The hosts are fantastic, we had a small maintainence issue on the camper which needed a tool, the Hosts were more than happy to lend the necessary equipment to us, which was greatly appreciated. Thank you again!
This campground is fairly large for the size town it’s in, but it is around half-way between our Wisconsin home-base and our destination in Wyoming, Perfect location to stop.
Our site was a “Deluxe Site” which had all the amenities you could want for your stay, including a deck, picnic table, fire pit and a chair swing for two. Very nice, Lots of space on either side of the campers, no complaints there.
The surrounding area is wide open, no buildings or trees, It did get very windy due to a pop-up thunderstorm in the area, just remeber your awnings!
Overall, Beautiful Campground, far enough of I-90 that you don’t hear it, even in the tent.
They do have online reservations available, nice feature!
