Mystic Hills Hideaway has been on my bucket-list for sometime. This ATV Resort is a perfect starting point for your Off-road adventures in the Black Hills of South Dakota. The Campground is large, though the spaces are close together, But each space has plenty of room for your RV slide-outs or awnings.
The lodge, (pictured) Is beautiful, Offering check-in desk, small store and restaurant. At the time of this review, the Restaurant was closed.
The lodge area is very busy, With in-coming checkings and general ATV Traffic going through the area. Traffic is slow through the area, so Noise is no issue.
I stayed In Campsite number 2, Electric only spot. Which is located across from the Lodge and near the Shower house / Restrooms. This spot is incredible because it’s right on the property line, so the view to the North is of pasture land! This was a perfect spot for my type of rv with the roof-top tent. It’s gave me a great view of open land, instead of other rvs!

Be Weather Aware! This Storm Popped Out Of No-where & Dropped Some Small Hail!

The Campground is located perfectly on the trail system, You can get anywhere from here. This time i went out to Nemo, South Dakota. Check out that article, good stuff. I would recommend site #2 if all you need is electric.
Conclusion…
Mystic Hills Hideaway is a fantastic place for your camping or off-roading adventures. Facilities are all top notch and there is even a restaurant on-site. No need to venture off the property if you don’t want too. There is so much in the area to do though, Your possibilities are truely limitless, I wish I had more time here. Will have to go back!
+ Great Location, Facilities and staff.
