The Fastway Brand has always been a favorite of mine, I have purchased their hitches and locks in the past and have always been impressed with the quality for the price of the products.
This time I went to Camping World and purchased two of these Stabilizing Wheel Chocks for my set up for our trip to Wyoming this year. I needed something more than just the rubber chocks I had for the past three years. I needed something that would push tightly against the tires to keep them from moving due to uneven terrain.
These Stabilizing Wheel Chocks fit the bill, Perfectly, I might add! These are exactly what I envisioned. They fit nicely stored away in the toolbox, unlike my previous solution, which I kept in the back of my pickup because they were too big!
Performance…
As far as the performance of the chocks are concerned, they are fantastic, sturdy, and convenient with the easy pull-up motion to unlock them! It feels like they “Lock” when you lock the wheel chocks in place. Nice feeling!
Quality…
These are exceptionally light weight but scream quality, It’s all heavy-duty pins and materials. I’ve had these for a couple of months now and no issues at all.
Setup…
Easy to set up as well, only took a couple minutes to customize these to my rig. You will need some everyday tools to customize these chocks for your rig.
Cost…
They are priced right for what they are, but they are pricey in comparison to other wheel chock solutions. I paid around $80 per wheel chock, one for each side of the trailer. A small price to pay for peace of mind!
Overall…
I love these! As stated, I had the big rubber wheel chocks for a couple of years and replaced them with this solution. I can’t say enough good things about these, they are highly effective, Super simple and great looking to boot! I would highly recommend these to anyone in need of new wheel chocks, yes, they are pricey, but they are built to last!
