Durhamtown Off-road Park, Union Center, Georgia

Durhamtown Off-road Park, Union Center, Georgia

Durhamtown was a bucket list item for me, I wanted to go there ever since hearing of it years ago. It was a whopping 16 hour drive down the Union Point, Georgia but well worth it, Very fun Park.

This park offers a wide range of terrain for all skill levels it is extremely busy at times which would be about the only downfall. Also provides a lot for Dirt Bikes.

We found a much quieter area to play in away from the main areas, Which helped make this trip much better!

As you can see in the videos, there are some very steep hills and very muddy conditions if your into that sort of thing, Very fun!

I would not recommend this park if you are newer to off-roading. It was so busy the entire 3 days we were there and not really for small kids, though there are areas just for kids, If they stayed there it would be fine, but they don’t. Get’s extremely dicey at times due to the amount and variations of motor traffic. Scary at times, Lots of very young kids that want to go very fast and they get impatient.

The park is just not big enough for the numbers of vehicles riding on it.

This park would be great if would segregate the ATVs / UTVs from the dirt bikes, That’s most of the problem

Overall…

This park is great, for experienced riders that follow the rules, problem is, It’s a free for all and very few follow rules, at-least while we were there. If you go to the back trails where we did, the park is less busy and way more fun!
