When in Iron County, this is a must visit destination on the trail. So much going on in this area, makes it worth the trek up to Saxon Harbor.
First off, This is a beautiful park to stop at along the trail. Lots of amenities, restrooms, picnic tables, and a great view of Lake Superior.
Busy town…
There is so much going on in this area, Plenty of parking makes it easy for atvers to not get in the way of everyone else, as this small town does get busy.
The area offers a very nice campground, a few bars / restaurants, fuel station, a functioning port / marina for Lake Superior and more. Just something to keep in mind when planning your trip to the area.
