I just wanted to do a quick run-down of our adventures last year before we start again this year..
2021 was the first year I seriously started thinking about building a community website. I started planning, with that planning came a large number of trips, So i would have content to post, Even though i have trips going back to 2016. Some of these were over the top, fantastic, some were just about relaxation, I do enjoy time by myself in the outdoors.
So with that said, some of my trips last year are not accounted for in the reviews because I was flip - flopping on whether or not to even create this community, but, this year 2022 I pulled the trigger and build this community. Though, I do have content on the website dating back to 2016, 2021 photos and videos were taken with building a website in mind. I don’t have every trip listed here, so that will give you some idea as to the amount of times per year we go!
So, Let’s get started, here is a summary of trips taken last year and links to those articles…
Nicolet National Forest - Forest County, WI
This trip was a weekend getaway trip to Forest Pond Campground near Hiles, WI We have some photos of the ride, and a review of the Forest Pond campground. Main objective of the ride was to get to Phelps, WI in Neighboring Vilas County as I had never been to the community before.

Morgan Lake County Park Campground - Marinette County, WI
This trip was about relaxation, no riding of the trails in Marinette County. This campground was great, one of the better facilities in the county that I can find. Very large camping pull-through camping sites, towards the back of the facility. Very busy campground, you definatley want to stay towards the back due to the amount of people in and out of the campground.

Schomburg County Campground - Iron County, WI
This is one of my all-time favorite campground facilities, The smaller sites of this campground are the only draw back. This campground has it all, it is a smaller campground, located just off Hwy 51 offers very easy access. ATV wash bay provided and your encouraged to use it before and after riding in the county to keep down the potential to spread invasive species, which is a really good idea & very nice for a county facility to offer.

Waushara County, WI ATV Routes
Did something a little different, Went to Waushara County to do some ATV “Route” riding. Really all this is is road riding due to the fact that Waushara County has no trails, Just road routes. Thats ok, was still fun for something different.
No review really, Did get to see some elk at a farm though, Kinda neat to see in Wisconsin
Black Hills - Deadwood, SD
This was on the way back from our Wyoming Trip. Stayed in Deadwood for a few days to break up the driving. Worked out great because it gave me the chance to scope out the area for this year’s (2022) trip to do a review of the Black Hills trails, can’t wait.
So, Again, No review here for 2021, Just a picture of a utv driving down Main Street in Deadwood. Wonderful to see the sport being accepted in so many places!
Check back this year (2022) for our stay at Mystic Hills ATV Resort and the Black Hills trails reviews

Bighorn Mountains Trails - Northern Unit - Dayton, Wy
This was a Bucket-list trip, I went to Wyoming as a 10 yr old kid and got hooked. Went to Yellowstone at that time.
This trip was about relaxation and intelligence gathering for our trip this year in 2022. I did do a brief review of the trails and the two campgrounds we stayed at during our stay. Look for a more extensive trail review of the Bighorn Mountains trails system coming this year.
We will have Trail Town articles for Burgess Junction and surrounding communities as well, should be a great time and we’ll have a lot of great content out of this trip!
Bighorn Mountains Trail Review (2021)
Shell Campground - Shell, WY
Stayed here for one night. The only reason being it was super hot in the upper 90s. Great facility, ended up staying in the Bighorn Mountains due to being cooler in the higher elevation.

Sibley Lake Campground - Dayton, WY
Wow, this is one of the best experiences I had ever had while camping, Hands down! Just everything about this campground is amazing, being in the mountains is an experince. Then to have a lake there for kayaking was incredilbe, see our review for more…

New Frontier Campground - Presho, SD
Stayed here for a night while traveling to Wyoming, Very nice campground located just off Interstate 90. Great facilities and location far enough off the Interstate to not be an issue.

Durhamtown Off-road Park - Union Point, GA
This was a trip to another bucket-list off-road facility i’ve always wanted to visit. 60 degrees in the winter was worth the 16 hour drive down there! Ended up staying in one of their cabins instead of camping.

As I said, I missed making reviews of many trips last year due to being on the fence about creating this community. I just didn’t know if I could handle all the work and work a job at the same time. This year I decided to take the plunge and build this community out.
So, In other words, expect many more reviews and articles this year due to finally having this website and place to offer this great service.
Look forward to hearing from everyone and I hope these articles are entertaining and interesting and Inspire you to get out into the outdoors to explore!
